Just about every day a customer brings us a tire with a Parts Unlimited tag (one of their biggest warehouses happens to be in Flat Rock-30 minutes away) and asks us to mount it for them. (This raises a question: would you take your own eggs to the Waffle House – and expect them to happily cook them?) We will mount these tires, but sheesh! Sometimes when the tire-bringer is a regular customer, I ask where the tire came from and its price? Most times, it’s via the internet or from a local dealer who does not have time or willingness to mount it quickly. So, I decided that it was time to check these guys out and see what made their deal so attractive.

By midday the barbeque sandwiches were disappearing with the speed of a downhill race. At this stage in the day’s proceedings, the instruction was customized to the specific needs of the riders – including this complete novice. What I was looking for in the clinic was a way to overcome my apprehension when my reassuring asphalt two-lane suddenly turned into uncertain sand and dirt.

My friend Linda Cluxton seen here in a picture taken a couple of years back with a friend some of you may recognize if you have watched On Any Sunday, sent me this web connection the other day.www.hivz.org Linda has a lot of experience on two wheels including riding for the Acme All Stars Racing Team...I think she has a good idea. She suggested that Acme Motorcycles make as much of this stuff available as possible to our customers. We have a lot of it already and we will continue to find items to make you more visible…..now about the Mohawk Hair helmet decoration. That may be special order.
