I checked with a well-known online seller. Here’s what I found, comparing the most common styles and sizes that I have sold recently. Take the Kenda 270 – a really nice inexpensive dual sport tire. I have used these tires, like em’, and they last longer than a full on knobby if you ride the pavement a lot.

The Metzler Tourance well known for the BMW GS and others. I had a set on my GS for a while (until I sold it)
150 x17 who knows? $147.95 $147.95 $14.00 $0.00
140x80 ???? $145.95 $150.71 $14.00 $0.00
110x19 it’s somewhere $122.95 $125.98 $14.00 N/C
100x19 next week $127.95 $128.58 $14.00 Free I could go on but you may see a trend. We are very competitive with the internet. We are local we will pick you up if your bike breaks down; we have been known to lend a trailer if we can’t.
The bottom line is this. We want to be here for local service but competing with folks 1300 miles away with no commitment to the Local riding community makes it difficult.
All I ask is give it a thought and try us next time.
