Riding at night, in the woods, down a dirt road with a stock headlight, I’m thinking go slow you can’t see squat. Pay attention to the road but keep an eye out for critters.
Then again if you have more light……reminding me of a friend, when we were 16 or so, who had so many lights and accessories on his beetle that when he turned them all on at once the engine would die. Too much is sometimes too much.
But, now 40 years later, we have LED and I can only imagine how much we could have put on the car. My XR does not have the most powerful charging system out there so HID is out and just about anything draws too much power. Therefore, my friend John the arteest, and I came up with an elegant kit to install LED’s on any bike with a cross bar. (Dirt Bike Handle Bars)
. 10 minutes and a couple of hand tools - you can light the world.
